"This company is a ripoff. They say they will call you back but they never do. They find out that they might owe you money you never hear from them. I have been waiting for a year for a $362.00 check and when the ac unit unit had burned up a needed replaced they never called back. DO NOT USE THEM. A RIP OFF COMPANY. THEY DON\'T EVEN RATE EVEN A SINGLE STAR. - LOYD DINNEEN"
"DO NOT PURCHASE WARRANTY POLICY -- Fraudulent company Stanley Warranty - took my money ( 1 yr premium) - authorized claim for work to be done - then 3 1/2 months later still no payment to services rendered company - now I\'m being threatened with collections due to Stanley Warranty nonpayment of claim to servicing company. WE RATE Stanley Warranty \'0\'. I withdraw my 12-27-13 compliment to Stanley Warranty -- they\'ve proved their unworthiness, nontrusting, and unprofessional and fraudulent actions to us."
"The Technician that took me a complete week to be arranged to come out to repair my washer informed me that he had another one of your company\'s customer that took 3 weeks to have his repaired and then your company would not pay them for the completed repair. He was not able to get a hold of anyone after trying to call your company to get authorization to replace a broken part on my unit. He tried for 45 minutes before he left and I tried for 3 hours and nothing. I\'m still waiting on a call back on when the technician would be coming back out with the authorization to complete the repair. My first call was last Monday at noon. I was told I would receive a call 24-48 hours later. Second call was on weds at noon. Same response. Third, fourth, and fifth call on Friday when I was finally was able to get a hold of someone at 5 and was told that I would receive a call from them for with the time the technician would come out. I didn\'t get a call... (surprisingly)... Called Sat morning and was told that the tech would be coming out at six on sat. Received call on at 3:55 from the tech that he would be coming between 4-4:30. He showed up at 4:40 and tried for 45 minutes to get authorization from your company to do the repair and was unsuccessful in reaching someone and left. I got a call this Monday from your company stating that they would be calling the tech to authorize my service and would call me back within the hour to inform me when the tech would be able to come out. And Low and behold, I\'ve still to receive a call back.... SO forgive me if I refuse and am unwilling to endorse or recommend your company to anyone, including my worst enemy."
"Stanley Warranty is a big joke. They want you to submit claim online and someone might call you back. They never dispatch service person to you, they always have you to talk to one of their representatives to see if this is something they will honor. My experience with them is that they will not honor anything. My past experience with other companies is that they will always send you a service tech and if it is not a covered item you will pay the deductible and for the repair. This company sucks and should not be consider at all."
"it took forever to get the service request place in... service guy was asking me about money...it took forever to talk to customer service...."
"This is by far the worst home warranty company I have ever worked with, I have had 3 different ones. They do not take claims over the phone and do not answer the phone when you have a claims question. I filed a claim 5 days ago and have left 3 messages and hove not received a call back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE."
"If you\'re a service provider, beware working with this company! We have been out several times to fix a lady\'s furnace, and I submitted the first claim 10/23/13. It is now 12/6/13 and I cannot get a reply to my email nor a phone call back. I\'ve tried multiple times to call and always get hung up on. This is not a very professional company at the very least."
"The worst company I have ever dealt with in my life.....impossible to get any type of service. They NEVER answer the phone. waited 3 weeks for washing machine service...then the repair company could not reach anyone to authorize payment for actual fix. I\'m ready to report them to the BBB."
Before I signed up for a Stanley Home Warranty, I read some reviewsthat said they wouldn\'t honor the repair and then wouldn\'t respond when askingfor a refund. I talked to the salesperson and they convinced me that wasn\'t thecase and they were a great company. I believed them. Well, when my AC stoppedworking, they denied the request claiming pre-existing condition. I wasextremely upset due to the details above, so I decided I would go with anothercompany, and asked for information on a refund. At that point, they would notrespond to me. I have reached their answering service twice, and they will notcall me back. When I finally got them to respond to an email, they are veryshort and do not answer the questions I asked. After I finally reached them, they finally agreed to give me a refund, but said it would take 30 days toprocess it. It has now been 40 days and I still have not received arefund. I call and email them multipletimes a day and no one will answer my question. No response at all to emails. When I finally get someone on the phone, they claim it is another department’sissue and they aren’t available right now, then they hang up on me. I have been hung up on by them at least 5times this week already. I just calledagain about an hour ago at 10AM and was told that I would have to talk to thebilling department, but “they are in a meeting until 4:00 or 5:00PM today, youcan try to call back then”. Unfortunatelythey leave at 5:00, so that makes it tough to talk to them. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone.YOU WILL REGRET becoming a customer of Stanley Warranty."
"Stanley Warranty people just don't care about returning phone calls. I have never had one phone call returned, this includes claims status, Brittany in customer service or any of the other people I have called. You pay for an entire month before your contract begins. I can understand a 30 day waiting period for claims but they don't pay the full cost of replacing an item until you have paid for seven months. You get $150 for the appliance, so my washer cost me $562. Stanley Warranty is a disgrace in the business world. - Anne S (Phoenix, AZ) "
